| Name of Hotel: |
Garden Hotel |
| Comments about Hotel: |
5 Star - With construction on Shamain Island, the is a great alternative. Good central location, loads of shopping close by and the executive room we had(14th Floor) was amazing. |
| Office or Orphanage: |
Guangdong Province Adoption paperwork, U.S. Consulate for INS processing. |
| Sights to See in this city: |
The Five Rams Park, the Qingping Market, Temple of the Six Banyan Trees, Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall, Pearl Market, river cruise among others. |
| Baby supplies can be purchased at: |
Friendship store across the street and several other stores and grocers all around |
| Places to eat we liked: |
Small authentic noodle shop out back entrance, Banana Leaf Cafe is in building across the street, great place.. |
| Things you ought to know while staying here: |
You are about a 20 minute ride to Shamian Island. We ate Chinese almost exclusively but McD's, KFC, Pizza Hut and Subway all across the street as is Starbucks. It is a busy area and much faster paced here but we loved it over the island 100x's |
