I Love You Like Crazy Cakes is a gentle and loving story of a single womans adoption journey. This book is good for reading to any pre-school child and would also be a good book for an early grade school child to read. The illustrations by Jane Dyer are excellent in their own right and perfectly complement the story. This book has been repeatedly requested as a bedtime story by my own daughter, age 4. It has served as a good starting point for discussions of our own adoption story. This book would make a good addition to the bookshelf of any China adoptive family with children under 8. It would also make an excellent gift for any prospective single mom.
